CRAFTSMANSHIP
Sans Souci’s unique lighting designs harness the artisan craft of Czech glassmakers, a tradition passed down through generations. Our production is based in North Bohemia, at the heart of the renowned glassmaking region known as “Crystal Valley”, a UNESCO heritage site. There, we carefully source all our materials, ensuring the best quality and responsible production practices.
The meaning of our name "Sans Souci" - carefree - is central to our ethos. We use captivating design to create spaces of beauty and tranquillity that capture your imagination and free your mind from worry.
DESIGN
Our expansive in-house design team expertly blends modern aesthetics with functionality, crafting high-quality products that exceed luxury standards. Each installation is executed with meticulous attention to detail, elevating every project. By continuously pushing the boundaries of design, Sans Souci creates truly inspiring and unforgettable spaces.
Centuries-proven Craft. A hand-blown crystal glass, slumped glass, technical glass, finishes like cutting, adding a touch of colour, or expertly applied metal nano-coating. The craftsmen in our team are ready to bring any design to perfection.
INNOVATION
Sans Souci is a leader in combining new technologies with the art and craft of glassmaking. For nearly twenty years, we have been developing an eco-friendly nanocoating technology that enhances the visual and functional properties of glass. We also continuously develop new methods and construction processes through strategic collaborations with designers, innovators, and academic institutions.

Slamp blends industry and craftsmanship, art and design. Founded in 1994 from a creative vision of our CEO and founder Roberto Ziliani, who was honored with the Compasso d'Oro alla Carriera in 2024, coinciding with the brand's 30th-anniversary celebrations.

We believe in relationships and in the synergistic collaboration between our company and internationally renowned designers and archi-stars, who bring to life truly unique lighting sculptures. Since our founding, we have been deeply committed to a sustainable approach, using durable, recyclable techno-polymers while continuously optimizing material offcuts. Thanks to our cold-cutting techniques and the meticulous design of our production site, Slamp operates with a low environmental footprint.
